  Lisa Blackwood - Managing Principal

  Lisa Blackwood oversees and directs all business segments for Structure. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in global energy and utility markets with significant expertise on large system integration projects in the electricity and gas industries.  Lisa has served clients in program and project management capacities in functional areas including trading and risk management, nomination/bidding/scheduling and settlements and billing including playing leadership roles at many of Structure’s larger, more complex engagements such as CAISO and ERCOT.  Lisa holds a BS in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M.

  Alex Lago - Principal, Vice President Generation, Transmission & Distribution

  Alex Lago leads Structure’s energy and utility consulting business across the Generation, Transmission and Distribution segments.  Alex has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of power system operations, wholesale power market operations, SCADA/EMS/GMS/DMS systems and system/application design and implementation.  Alex established Structure's SCADA and Energy Management Systems consulting practice and launched Structure’s Smart Grid/Distribution Operations and Automation practice.  Alex has delivered projects across a diverse group of Structure’s client base including transmission, distribution, retail, generation and market operator segments. Prior to joining Structure, Alex worked in roles of increasing responsibility for a leading SCADA/EMS/DMS vendor, a retail energy services company and an online exchange start-up.  Alex holds BS, MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M.

  Lelon Winstead - Principal, Vice President Commercial Trading

  Lelon Winstead leads Structure’s Commercial Trading business which includes its Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) practice.  He has over 20  years experience in the energy industry, focusing on business and IT strategy, business-process design, project management, vendor selection and system implementation.  Lelon has extensive ETRM system implementation experience and previously performed sales and account management responsibilities across many of Structure’s largest energy trading and utility clients.  Lelon holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.

  David Shepheard - Principal, Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy

  David Shepheard oversees Structure's strategic positioning in the marketplace, the development of Structure's energy and utility consulting practices, and the execution of strategic partnerships.  He joined Structure from Accenture as a founding partner in 1998 and has previously performed sales and account management responsibilities across many of Structure’s largest energy trading and utility clients.  David has over 20 years of experience working in energy markets across North America and in Europe with companies spanning the energy value chain from generation/production through transmission/distribution to retail sales and customer service.  David holds dual BSE degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
