PJM has recently stated that the June 1, 2008 implementation of MSRS is moving to either July 1 or August 1, 2008. In either case, the implementation is still fast approaching. The project is comprised of new Market Settlement Calculation and Market Settlement Reporting Systems. Beyond the traditional technology specific requirements, the MSRS implementation provides various opportunities for participants, including: the distribution of new and revised reports, improved data frequency, improved data granularity, and general reporting enhancements.
