Lisa Blackwood
Managing Principal
Lisa Blackwood is responsible for overseeing sales and account management for projects in Structure's global energy consulting practices. Her expertise is centered on large system integration projects in the electricity and gas industries. During her 19 years in the energy industry, Lisa has served clients in program and project management capacities in functional areas including trading, risk management, nomination / bidding /scheduling and settlements and billing. She has extensive experience in developing power markets in Europe as well. In addition to her business development and account management duties, Lisa serves as Managing Principal on the companys executive management team.
Alex Lago
Principal, Vice President Generation, Transmission & Distribution
Alex Lago is responsible for the company's consulting activities in the Generation, Transmission and Distribution segment of the energy industry. Alex has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of power system operations, wholesale power market operations, SCADA / EMS / GMS / DMS systems and system/application design and implementation. He came to Structure in 2001 and has served numerous clients with the implementation of operations and optimization systems. Alex helped establish and led Structure's Asset Operations and Optimization consulting practice, serving clients such as ERCOT, PECO, BP, Oxy, Shell Trading and MISO. Prior to joining Structure, Alex worked several years for a leading SCADA / EMS / DMS vendor, a retail energy services company and an online exchange startup.
Lelon Winstead
Principal, Vice President Commercial Trading
Lelon Winstead is responsible for leading Structures Commercial Trading Consulting Segment. Lelon is the company's business development lead in the New York market, and works with clients participating the California, Midwest, New York, New England, PJM and SPP power markets. Lelon has more than 15 years' experience in software development, product management and executive management.
David Shepheard
Principal, Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy
David Shepheard joined Structure as a founding member at its inception in April 1998. In his current role as Vice President Corporate Development and Strategy, he oversees Structure's strategic positioning in the marketplace, the creation and development of Structure's consulting practice areas, and the creation and execution of strategic partnerships. David has over 17 years of experience working in energy markets across North America and in Europe with companies spanning the energy value chain.
Michael Cutler
Principal
Michael Cutler has more than 15 years of management consulting experience with 11 focused on the energy industry. In his first five years at Structure, Mike led the original definition and development of Structure's nMarket product as a custom solution, opened Structure's Houston software solutions office and directed nMarket's expansion to serve more than 50 customers across seven North American regional power markets. Since 2003, Mike has returned to his consulting roots, advising energy clients entering new markets, setting up trade floor operations, re-defining and optimizing end to end business processes, helping prepare a retail business unit for sale, assisting with systems selection, implementation and integration, and advising executive management on similar step change initiatives. Mike's client experience includes utilities, banks, power and gas marketers, and asset backed merchants, such as Calpine, Shell Trading, JP Morgan and PacifiCorp.
Baris Ertan
Principal
Baris Ertan is responsible for leading Structure's Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) consulting practice. In this role, he is primarily focused on business development, project delivery, and ETRM practice strategy and development. Baris has worked with a number of clients in the energy and financial services industry with a focus on business and IT strategy, business process design, project management, vendor selection and system implementation. Since joining Structure in 2003, Baris has established a consulting team of professionals with deep industry and product expertise and a broad range of service offerings with a commitment to exceptional client delivery. Prior to joining Structure, Baris spent six years within the ETRM practice at Accenture.
Vikki Gates
Principal
Vikki Gates is an energy restructuring expert with proven leadership abilities. As a skilled facilitator, she brings together complex, differing and sometimes competing agendas and positions for resolution within tight deadlines. Vikki excels at teaching and deploying multiple communication and delivery techniques; and leading large testing, compliance, training, and readiness initiatives for clients. She possesses an extensive technical, sales and marketing background.
Mark Von Weihe
Principal
Mark Von Weihe is responsible for account management and project delivery in Structure's North American energy consulting practice. Mark works with utilities and independent generation clients in the Northeastern US and Ontario. Mark has an electrical engineering background and over 11 years experience delivering commercial and operational solutions to the energy industry. Since starting with Structure in 1998, Mark has developed a deep understanding of process and technology challenges that face utilities and market participants. His client experience includes utilities, transmission owners/operators, power and gas marketers, and financial institutions.
Stacey Wood
Principal
Stacey Wood is responsible for leading Structure's SmartGrid Practice. Stacey leverages her broad experience around strategic planning, business transformation, project management, business process optimization, systems development & integration, risk management and customer requirements to assist utilities and energy companies. Stacey has a CPA and has worked exclusively in the energy and utility markets throughout the last 20 years of her career managing wholesale, retail, operations and consumer based projects. Stacey's approach to achieving project success integrates her understanding of operational, regulatory and financial challenges facing organizations with the ability to translate these needs to define goals and achieve operational results while balancing cost, scope, and time.
